What do I need to provide for my website?
You will need to provide: your logo (or we can create one), written content for each page (or we can write it for you), photos of you and your team, your FCA registration number, details of your services, and any testimonials you want to include. We will send you a detailed content checklist when we start. Do not worry if you are missing something. We can help fill gaps or work with what you have.
Is the website FCA compliant?
We design websites with FCA requirements in mind, including proper display of your FCA registration, appropriate risk warnings, and compliant content structure. However, final compliance responsibility rests with you and your compliance team. We recommend having your compliance officer review the site before launch. We are happy to make any changes they require.
Can I update the website myself?
Minor updates like text changes and image swaps are included in your monthly hosting fee. We handle these for you, usually within 24-48 hours. For clients who want direct access, we can provide a content management system, though this adds complexity and cost. Most IFAs prefer to email us changes rather than managing a CMS themselves.
What happens if I want to leave?
You are not locked in. If you want to move your website elsewhere, give us 30 days notice and we will help with the transition. We will provide all your website files and assist with domain transfer. We keep clients by doing good work, not by making it hard to leave. That said, most clients stay with us for years.
Do you help with domain names and email?
Yes. If you do not have a domain name, we can help you choose and register one. We can also set up professional email addresses using your domain (like [email protected]). Domain registration is typically around £10-15 per year. Email hosting depends on your needs but starts from £5 per user per month.
Will my website work on mobile phones?
